A man has appeared in court accused of threatening to kill three people including a police officer.
Keiron Lawson, 29, of Beechfield Road, Richmond, appeared before magistrates in York yesterday.
He is charged with making threats to kill a woman intending that she would believe he would carry out the threat on January 27 this year.
The defendant is also accused of telling the woman he would kill two other people, including a man and a female police sergeant.
One offence is alleged to have occurred on January 27 and another on December 8 last year.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the three charges and was remanded in custody.
He will appear before magistrates again on March 1.
