A man suffered head injuries in a crash in Brompton-on-Swale today.
The accident occurred in Scorton Road at about 11.30am.
It involved a Citroen Berlingo van which left the road and ended up in the hedge.
Colburn and Richmond fire crews attended the scene of the single vehicle collision.
A man in his 50s was freed from the vehicle by crews using hydraulic cutting equipment, small tools and stabilisation equipment.
The motorist was taken to hospital via road ambulance with head injuries.
