Man suffers head injury in Catterick Garrison assault

A man suffered a head injury in an assault in Catterick Garrison this week.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information about the incident which happened in the Hallgarth area, Hipswell, Catterick Garrison, between 9.30pm on Tuesday and 6am on Wednesday.

Police say a 57-year-old man was assaulted “possibly by two unknown offenders”.

He was taken to hospital where he was treated with a head injury.

A police spokesperson said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident

“In particular, we are appealing for information from anyone who witnessed the assault or anyone who has any CCTV, dash-cam or doorbell camera footage that may have captured something relevant.”
