Just the Job’s objectives are to provide an array of experiences for work team members including work-based skills, training in a supported setting, personal and group learning and social events.

Established in 2005, Just the Job have rapidly filled their present accommodation, currently spread over four locations throughout Richmondshire and all on a short term lease.

Planning permission has been granted for a new all-in-one site facility to be built,  supported by Zetland Estates and with the benefit of a 50-year lease.

The project hopes to incorporate specialist rooms for activities, fully accessible toilets with changing equipment, multi-use outdoor areas and a horticultural project.

The new facilities will allow Just the Job to broaden their provision, supporting more individuals from the local community as well as increasing the opportunity for joint work with other local projects and local schools.

The new build will be a ‘Big Green Build’ a pioneering project for the local area, incorporating solar panels, green roof, reed bed water filtration, timber frame construction and straw bale insulation.

£500,000 of private funding needs to be raised to fulfil this project.
