Memorial bench installed to remember life of Natalie Harker

A memorial bench has been installed in the grounds of St Cuthbert’s Church in Colburn to remember the life of Natalie Harker who died tragically in October 2019.

Following a series of collections and a fundraising tea at Colburn Village Hall, a bench, along with two planters, have been purchased for the local community to enjoy.

A plaque has also been added as a tribute to Natalie.

It is hoped that some additional plants and trees might be added to the church grounds following an additional donation of £250 from the Co-Op in Colburn.

The family said they would like to record their gratitude to local friends and the community for their support over the last year.

Natalie died on October 9 last year.

Her former partner, Andrew Pearson, of Chestnut Court, Catterick Garrison, is due to go on trial for her murder in November.
