Police are investigating after a Mercedes Sprinter van was stolen from the Whaston area near Richmond.
The vehicle was taken between yesterday evening and the early hours of today.
The van registration was LM12 EUP.
A police spokerspon said: “Enquiries are currently ongoing but it is believed a male wearing all light grey clothing may be involved.
“Do you have any information which would assist North Yorkshire Police in finding those responsible and help keep your community safe?
“Did you or anyone who you live with, hear or see anything around the above time and date? Do you have any CCTV coverage capturing the theft, or anything happening on the street before or after? Do you have a vehicle with a dash-cam parked in the area?”
