
Police have made an appeal for witnesses after a motorbike rider was seriously injured in a collision in Swaledale on Friday.
Police were contacted at 4.36pm by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to reports of a road traffic collision.
The crash involved a Land Rover and a Honda motorcycle on West Haggs Farm Road, between Fremington and Marske.

The 38-year-old male rider of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was taken to James Cook Hospital.
The road was closed near to Barn Home Farm to allow the collision investigation unit to attend.
Anyone who witnessed anything which could assist our investigation is asked to call 101, select option 1 and pass the information to the force control room.
