Police are appealing for information after two masked people were caught on CCTV pushing away a stolen motorcycle in Brompton-on-Swale.
The motorcycle was taken from Citadilla Close at around 11.40pm on Tuesday, September 22.
North Yorkshire Police said CCTV footage showed two people dressed in dark clothing and wearing balaclavas pushing the motorcycle away from the area.
The bike has since been recovered close to where it was stolen, but officers are continuing their investigation in an attempt to identify those responsible.
Police are asking residents to consider whether they saw or heard anything suspicious around the time of the theft.
Officers would also like to hear from anyone with CCTV footage covering Citadilla Close or surrounding streets which may have captured activity before, during or after the incident.
Anyone who had a vehicle parked nearby with a dashcam is also being asked to check whether it recorded anything which could assist the investigation.
