A motorist had to be released by firefighters following a single-vehicle collision this morning.
The emergency services were called to the scene at around 6am.
The collision occurred between Richmond and Brompton-on-Swale.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews were mobilised to a report of a single vehicle RTC with a vehicle on its side.
“One casualty was trapped in the vehicle and was released by fire service into the care of ambulance crews.”
