The emergency services were called to an accident in Catterick Garrison today.
One person was trapped in the wreckage following the two-vehicle collision on Scotton Road.
Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to free them.

The emergency services were called to the scene at 4.41pm.
Fire crews from Richmond and Leyburn attended.
The road was blocked and motorists were advised to avoid the area.
It is understood an air ambulance was called to the scene.
