Mum2mum Market returns to Richmond with festive bargains for families

The Mum2mum Market will return to Richmond next month with its final nearly-new sale of the year, offering local families a chance to pick up affordable festive gifts and baby essentials.

The event takes place at Richmond School on Sunday, 16 November, from 10am to 12pm, with free entry for the final half hour.

Mum2mum Market aim to be a lifeline for families looking to buy and sell quality pre-loved baby and children’s items at low cost — from toys and books to prams, clothes and nursery equipment. Stallholders keep 100 per cent of their takings, while buyers enjoy big savings.

Franchise owner Chloe Stott, who brought the markets to Richmond in 2023, said the event had quickly grown into a well-loved community fixture.

“Ultimately, our little ones have no idea where their presents come from — I remember buying my son a whole range of little dinos from another market and wrapping them up in a sandwich bag! He still loved them, so why not make Christmas magical without the hefty price tag?” she said.

Chloe, a mum-of-two from North Yorkshire, launched the local branch after looking for a more flexible way to work following maternity leave. “These markets have been hugely popular in other towns, but I knew there was demand in rural areas like ours,” she said.

The upcoming Richmond sale has already sold out for stallholders, with organisers promising an “incredible range of bargains” on offer.

Entry costs £2 on the door, with under-16s free. Future 2026 market dates will be announced soon.
