
A well-known local clarinet group will take part in a candlelit promenade at Kiplin Hall later this week.
The Mowbray String Quartet will perform at the country house near Scorton on Friday. October 6, with their selection of pieces to include Beethoven, Hayden and Dvorak.
They will be joined by groups including Reeds United.

Visitors will be able to promenade through the hall listening to live music and hearing readings from the books in Kiplin’s Library.
Dawn Webster, the curator of Kiplin Hall, said: “We’re excited to be hosting this evening of culture in such fine surroundings.
“This autumnal evening event is to be enjoyed by all.”
Promenaders are invited to attend from 6pm onwards.
