A new support group for people who areneurodiverse has launched in the area.
Neurodiverse Community Catterick (NDCC) runs regular sessions at the community hub in Loos Road, Catterick Garrison.
Chair of the group Lottie Coulson said: “We are a relatively new local organisation which supports neurodivergent adults, children and parent carers.
“Our ethos is to empower, be inclusive and create a safe community. We believe all neurodivergent people need a space to be themselves. A place to be supported, freely stim, socialise with others and have fun.
“A non judgmental space where you are met with understanding, support and empathy – space for all. ”
The group offers a range of services and support including in-person and online support groups, adult/family events, advocacy, training and sensory support.
