A new club night will launch later this month at a Richmond pub.
The night of tech house and techno will be held at the Unicorn in Newbiggin on October 28.
The free event is being promoted by Oli Young, who runs events company Darkside UK and has recently moved to the area.
Oli, who has promoted similar events in London, said: “I have realised that there isn’t much from young adults do do in the area so have decided to bring one of our club nights here.
“We’re hoping to get lots of young adults in the area like myself to be able to come and party safely without having to spend hundreds of pounds to go out.
“We’re creating a safe space for people to let loose and feel free and forget about day to day life and just have fun.”
