New Clubbercise fitness class launches at Catterick Garrison nightclub

A new Clubbercise class will launch at a Catterick Garrison nightclub next month.

Billed as ‘clean clubbing’, Clubbercise takes place with the main lights out and disco lights on.

Class organiser Victoria Brown said you didn’t need alcohol to have a good time at the classes.

The 36-year-old mother of three from Richmond added: “It uses a mix of 90’s classics up to the very latest floorfillers.

“What makes it so unique is that every class takes place with the main lights out, disco lights on, and all routines incorporate hand held flashing glow sticks.”

Victoria said the classes allowed mums and dads to feel like they were having a night out while exercising, and the sessions encourage those to exercise who don’t usually like group exercise.

Particpants wear UV clothing, paint and flashing to add to the fun, this is optional though

“Clubbercise helps to increase confidence due to the lighting  – participants can let go like no one is watching,” Victoria added.

Clubbercise is part of #Thisgirlcan which actively encourages women to exercise without fear of judgement

The class is launching at Club Louis, in Catterick Garrison on March 31 from  7pm to 9pm.

It will be £6 for a pre booked ticket which include free reusable glow sticks.

After that classes will be 6.30pm to 7.30pm every Friday night at the club unless demand results in extra classes.
