A businessman has taken over a Leyburn business after relocating to the district from South Yorkshire.
Ian Finlay is the new owner of Leyburn Launderette and Dry Cleaning.
Ian, who has renamed the business Dales Linen Hire Co. Ltd, has taken over the business from long-standing launderette owners Emma and Paul Roberts.

The businessman, 55, has moved to the area with partner Nic from Huddersfield and is originally a metal welder.
He decided to move to the Yorkshire Dales after being a regular visitor to the area and buying the launderette after looking around for a business to take on.
He said: “I was looking around for a B&B or something similar when I got a phone call asking if I fancied a launderette.
“I came, had a look and loved the place, and could see the potential.”
He added: “The aim is to maintain the current high standards and then slowly improve on things and look to expand.
“We will be looking for more staff to add to the team shortly.”
