Two new community picnic benches have been installed in Hispwell.
Officials say the benches give local people a covid safe and open space to meet up with friends and family.
Hipswell Parish Council received a grant of £933 towards the £1,245 scheme from the district council’s area partnership grant scheme.
Richmondshire District Council’s five Area Partnerships – for the Upper Dales, Central (including Richmond), Lower Wensleydale, Garrison and North Richmondshire areas – each have £10,000 to award to local projects.
