New secretary wanted for men’s football league

An appeal has gone out to find a new secretary for the Wensleydale Creamery League.

The league’s current secretary Keith Jeffery, is retiring at the end of the season and someone to take on the role is being sought.

The requirements are include organising league meetings, affiliating the league to the County FA, ensuring all clubs are affiliated to the league, ensuring all players are registered to the league, dealing with correspondence, organising and booking match facilities for the season, organising the league AGM, representing the league at outside meetings at the direction of the committee and organising league cup finals.

The role takes up around five hours a week.

The secretary receives a small honorarium.
