A newly-formed junior football team has got a new kit thanks to sponsorship from a local business.
PH Machin Plumbing and Heating Engineers paid for a full strip for Leyburn Junior FC U12s who have recently formed in preparation for next season when they will play U13s football in the Hambleton and Richmondshire league.
PH Machin is run by Phil Machin and sons Paul and Andrew.
The kit was presented to the Leyburn squad ahead of a friendly game this week by Paul Machin.
He said: “My daughter plays for Leyburn U8s and it’s a great club.
“We just wanted to help the new team out so offered to sponsor them.”
Coach Shane Close said: “We are really grateful for their support. The lads look really good and everyone is looking forward to next season.”
