The Wensleydale Creamery League has issued an appeal for new teams.
The league is also looking for new officials volunteers to help run the club, with a new chairman and secretary wanted.
Eleven teams started the 2020/21 season, but Colburn withdrew half-way through the season.
Leyburn have also advised they will not be entering a team in the coming season.
Current chairman Danny Plumb said: “After a very strange season we are looking forwards to normality in September when the 21/22 season starts.
“With that in mind we are looking for any teams that would be interested in joining the Wensleydale League.
“If you are established or brand new we want to hear from you.
“There is great help from both ourselves and the North Riding County FA.
“If you are interested just drop me a message on our Facebook Page.”
The Saturday league accepts adult men’s teams from across Richmondshire, as well as the Northallerton and Masham areas.
