New tenant sought for unit at The Station

The Station in Richmond is on the lookout for a new business to join its portfolio of popular independent retailers.

The Station attracts more than 330,000 visitors every year and is home to an award-winning Café | Bar, three screen cinema, art galleries, and a host of successful independent artisan businesses.

A  retail unit, with 112 ft² of retail space located on the main Station platform, is due to become available from January 2023.

The retail unit also benefits from 260 ft² of enclosed space with external window and doors, opening onto the busy Easby Abbey walking route.

The enclosed space is currently used for food production but could be used for retail or other uses.

As well as joining a popular visitor attraction, the new tenant will also be supporting the Richmondshire Building Preservation Trust (RBPT), the charity that owns and operates the Station.

All rent and service charges go straight back to the charity, which supports both the ongoing operation of The Station and new investments in other heritage buildings at risk in Richmondshire.
