Newborn Richmond triplets return home for Christmas

Three Richmond triplets have been allowed home in time for Christmas.

Emilia Lily, Olivia Daisy and Joshua David were born ten weeks premature and weighed less than three-and-a-half pounds each when they were born.

Doctors allowed Joshua home but his sisters had to stay in.

But mum and dad, Laura and Gordon Wade, who own Rosedale Guest House, in Richmond, have been able to take home all three, but now have their work cut out feeding and changing the new arrivals.

The babies have needed special care at Darlington memorial and James Cook hospitals, but can now spend Christmas at home with big sister Georgia.

Laura has been documenting their arrival on Instagram, and has built up more than 8,000 followers from around the world.

The triplets, who are now ten weeks old, have gained an international following.

Laura and Gordon had fertility treatment before Laura fell pregnant.
