Residents are being invited to share their views on local NHS services as health leaders continue work to shape future care in the area.
University Hospitals Tees (UHT), which brings together South Tees Hospitals and North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trusts, is holding a public engagement event at Market House in Hawes on Tuesday, August 4, from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
Patients, carers and families are being encouraged to discuss what is working well and where improvements could be made to hospital and community health services across Richmondshire.
The hospital group is particularly keen to hear feedback on services including Friarage Hospital, The Friary Community Hospital, Reeth Medical Centre and other community healthcare provision in the area.
Dr James Dunbar, consultant in infectious diseases and service director for community and neighbourhood health services, said: “We are deeply committed to delivering the highest quality of care for all of our rural communities.
“The partnership to maintain the Reeth Medical Centre is part of an ambitious plan to provide neighbourhood health services to the people of the Dales.”
The feedback will help inform the ongoing development of local health and community services across Richmondshire.
People who are unable to attend the event in person can also complete an online survey until Monday, August 31.
