The public has been warned to expect loud noises on Catterick’s ranges this week as police and the military take part in a joint exercise.
Exercise Saton Force, held annually at Catterick Garrison, runs until Friday.
Bomb disposal experts will be taking part in a joint military and police exercise to test their ability to respond to a suspected explosive device.
Explosions and loud noises may be heard during the hours between 10am and 2pm.
