Firefighters were called to a house fire in Richmond on Wednesday evening.
Crews from Reeth and Ripon were mobilised to the property at Craven Court at about 5.45pm.
On arrival, firefighters found that the occupier had already managed to extinguish the fire.
Crews ventilated the property before using a thermal imaging camera to check temperatures in the affected room and ensure the fire was fully out.
No injuries were reported.
Why fire engines from Ripon and Reeth called out to Richmond???
When there is a fire station in Richmond.
Thank goodness this was not a serious fire.
