Old photos of the Dales from 1940 to 1990 are wanted for a exhibition.
The photos will go on show at the Garden Rooms at Tennants in Leyburn from January 17 to February 12 next year.
Tennants is creating an exhibition that charts 50 years of change in the northern Dales, as captured in the photographs of the people of the area and are asking residents to dig out their old photograph albums.
They are looking for photos that show village life, markets, farming life, fairs and events, transport, education and more.
The best 60 photographs submitted that capture life in the Dales will be enlarged, but all images entered will be incorporated into a digital photo reel as part of the exhibition.
The exhibition will also include a display of photographs from Tennants Auctioneers’ own history.
