Police are appealing for information after a stone truck was stolen from a church graveyard in Barton.
The burglary happened at the graveyard of St Cuthbert and St Mary’s Church sometime between December 25, 2025 and April 29, 2026.
Officers say the stolen item is a solid stone truck.
North Yorkshire Police is asking residents if they saw or heard anything suspicious in the area during that time.
They are also appealing for anyone with CCTV or doorbell footage, or motorists with dash-cam footage parked nearby, to come forward.
Police are additionally asking if anyone has been offered the stone truck for sale.
