Parents of children attending Leyburn Primary School are planning a family fun day to raise money toward the refurbishment of the school’s ITC suite.

The attractions will include a bouncy castles and other various inflatables, Sumo suits, tombola, and hair braiding and face painting.

Refreshments will be available.

Entry to the site is free, with wristbands/tokens available to buy for the different activities, with all proceeds going to the PTFA.

Everyone is welcome.

The PTFA said the fundraising got off to a good start with a recent bucket collection at the Forbidden Corner attraction in Coverdale.

The group has also received a generous donation from Mr and Mrs Bethell, who run the Jessica Bethell Charitable Foundation, which was set up in memory of their daughter Jessica who died of meningitis in 2012.
