A mix of houses which could include seven two bedroom dwellings, 24 three
bedroom dwellings and three four bedroom dwellings, as well as 12 one bedroom
apartments and 18 two bedroom apartments, is being proposed.

Vehicles would access the site along Heatherdene Road, which would be improved to cope with the increased traffic, the plans submitted on behalf of applicants Burhani Properties state.

Documents submitted with the plans say: “Bringing derelict land back into use is a primary goal and will result in a parcel of land for future use that protects the greenbelt from harm.

“The proposed use as residential, if granted outline consent will provide the area with the potential for up to 64 new dwellings, subject to detailed planning consent.”
