Plant sale planned to raise money for Richmond flower displays

Ravensworth Nurseries at Richmond's Big Plant Sale.

The Original Richmond in Bloom Plant Sale is being held in Richmond Market Place on Sunday, June 19 from 11am to 4pm.

This plant market is being held to raise funds for the extra flowers around Richmond Town Centre that for the last few years have enhanced the planters and baskets provided by Richmond Town Council.

Stalls including, Ravensworth Nurseries, John Meynell, Mandy Owen Flowers and Plants, Original Richmond In Bloom, Temptations Gifts and Ladders, The Plant Shop at Middlemoor, Stable Cottage Vintage Holiday Flowers and Marie Curie Swaledale Fund Raising group.

Plants, seedlings, cuttings, mature plants that have been split, surplus plants and more will be on sale.

There is still some space at The Big Plant Sale.

There is no charge for the stalls, although a contribution to Original Richmond In Bloom would be welcome.
