Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Low Row in the early hours of Tuesday, April 14.
Officers from North Yorkshire Police say the incident happened sometime between 12.01am and 6am, when offenders gained access to a locked garage.
An attempt was made to steal a quad bike.
Enquiries are ongoing and police are urging anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious at the time to come forward.
They are particularly keen to hear from residents with CCTV or doorbell footage, as well as anyone with dash-cam recordings from vehicles parked in the area overnight.
