Police are appealing for information after a car was damaged in a Catterick Garrison car park.
The incident happened on Saturday between 2.15pm and 5.45pm.
A vehicle was parked at the Princes Gate shopping centre car park, at the rear of the Premier Inn, while the occupants were visiting the cinema.
On returning to the vehicle, the driver found that damage had been caused to the driver side.
The other motorist left the scene without reporting the damage.
The car damaged was a white Mercedes C250.
