An investigation is under way following a collision in a village car park which left a parked vehicle damaged.
Officers from North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information after the incident at the Farmers Arms at around 3.50pm on Saturday, March 7.
A parked Jaguar was damaged by another vehicle, which left the scene without providing details. Police say the vehicle was later parked in front of the premises.
It is believed passengers inside the vehicle were aware of the collision and had been assisting the driver in navigating through the car park at the time.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a dark-coloured Volvo XC60, on a 17 plate, who may be able to assist with enquiries.
Anyone who was involved, witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to contact police on 101 or email colin.irvine@northyorkshire.police.uk, quoting reference 12260043198.
