North Yorkshire Police is appealing for information after a car was damaged in Richmond.
The criminal damage is believed to have taken place on Green Howards Road between 3am and 6am on Saturday, May 9.
Officers are asking residents if they heard or saw anything suspicious during the early hours or if they have CCTV or dash-cam footage which could assist the investigation.
Police are also keen to hear from motorists who drove along Green Howards Road during the time period and may have noticed unusual activity.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “Do you have any information which would assist North Yorkshire Police in finding those responsible and help keep your community safe?
“Did you or anyone who you live with, hear or see anything around the above time and date?
“Do you have any CCTV coverage capturing the incident, or anything happening on the street before or after?
“Do you have a vehicle with a dash-cam parked in the area?”
