North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information following two separate incidents in Leyburn earlier this week.
Overnight on Monday, August 19, a black GIANT mountain bike with blue pedals was stolen from a garden in Oak Close.
Officers are urging anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious to get in touch, quoting reference 12250156676.
In a second incident, which took place between the late evening of August 19 and the early hours of August 20, an unknown person is believed to have been around the front and rear of a residential property in Leyburn, leaving evidence of their presence.
Police are asking residents with CCTV to check their footage and to contact them with any information, quoting reference 12250156761.
Anyone with details about either incident should call 101 or speak to local officers.
