Police are appealing for information after tools and gardening equipment were stolen during a burglary near Carperby.
The break-in happened overnight between 7pm on Tuesday, July 7, and 8.30am on Wednesday, July 8, at a property just outside the village.
North Yorkshire Police said a number of tools and items of gardening equipment were taken and officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
Police are particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw or heard suspicious activity in the area during the relevant times, or who has CCTV, doorbell camera or dashcam footage that could assist the investigation.

Officers are also reminding residents to help protect their homes by ensuring doors and windows are locked overnight, keeping valuables out of sight, and considering installing security lighting.
