Police are appealing for information after a vehicle and thousands of pounds worth of tools were stolen from a farm building in Coverdale.
The theft happened at an outbuilding in Carlton, near Leyburn, between 1am and 4am on Wednesday, July 8.
North Yorkshire Police said offenders forced their way into the building by breaking padlocks and removing security chains before stealing a black Mitsubishi vehicle and a range of equipment.
Among the items taken were a welder, chainsaw, petrol post knocker, tipping machines and other hand-held tools.
Officers are now asking anyone with CCTV, dashcam or other footage from the area around the time of the burglary to come forward.
They are particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw suspicious vehicles or people in or around Carlton during the early hours of Wednesday morning.
