Police are appealing for information after a burglary and an attempted break-in at two Wensleydale pubs.
The incidents happened on Saturday night or early Sunday morning.
The Rose and Crown pub at Bainbridge was burgled and a safe stolen.
The safe was found later nearby on Kettlewell Lane and had been emptied of cash.
On the same night, an attempted burglary was made at White Rose pub in Askrigg.
