Police appeal after Dales wall stolen

The theft took place at the top of Bellerby Bank.

Police have issued an appeal for information after a spate of walling stone thefts.

At some time over the last two days, three metres of walling stone was stolen from a wall at the top of Bellerby Bank, near Leyburn.

Police say it would have needed a van or a pick up to remove the stone.
