Police appeal after Exelby services theft

Police have issued two CCTV images and are asking for the public’s help to identify a man and a woman following the theft of items from Exelby Services at Coneygarth near Leeming Bar.  

On 11 June 2017, at around 6pm, a number of items including a toy and a phone charger were taken from the store without any attempt being made to pay for them.

Officers would like to speak the man and woman shown in the images in connection with the incident.

The two entered the shop with a two young children – a boy and a girl and left the services in a grey van which was towing a caravan.
