Police are investigating a theft from a vehicle which occurred in Dalton Gates in the early hours of Friday, January 30.
The incident happened sometime between 2am and 4am on a street near West Lane and Moulton Lane.
North Yorkshire Police are appealing to local residents for information that may help identify those responsible.
Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything unusual during the time of the incident, or who may have relevant CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage showing activity in the area before or after the theft.
