Police in Richmond have issued an appeal after a cat was apparently attacked.
The incident involve a three-year-old male black cat called Buddy.
When Buddy returned home on Wednesday this week, his owner noticed that Buddy’s whiskers had been cut off, his fur had been plucked, and he had a swollen eye.
Police say this has caused distress to Buddy and his owner.
Officers are appealing for any Richmond residents who have any information regarding this to come forward and assist in the investigation.
