Police are appealing for help to locate a 30-year-old man who has been recalled to prison after breaching the terms of his licence.
North Yorkshire Police said officers are searching for Nicholas Vernon, who is believed to be in the Durham area but also has links to Richmond.
Vernon is described as a white man with light brown hair and blue eyes. He is around 5ft 4in tall.
Police said extensive enquiries are already underway to locate him and officers are now asking members of the public for assistance.
Anyone who sees Vernon is urged not to approach him but to call 999 immediately.
