Police have appealed for information after a spate of milk thefts in the Barton area.
North Yorkshire Police say they have received several reports of milk and milk crates been stolen from the doorstep of several properties in the village.
More than 30 bottles were taken between 2am and 4am on Monday.
A spokesperson for the force said this was the fifth incident of this nature in the last six months.
They added: “If anyone has seen or heard anything suspicious or has CCTV footage showing persons or vehicles in the area please call 101.”
