Police investigating a spate of quad bike thefts have made a further arrest.
Officers travelled outside of the county to the North-East to carry out searches of properties on Thursday morning.
One person was arrested and items of interest were seized.
A police spokesperson said: “North Yorkshire Police’s Rural Task Force are pleased to share that a further arrest has been made in relation to quad bike thefts in the Richmondshire area.
“Officers from the task force travelled north of the county border during the early hours of this morning to conduct enquiries which led to a further arrest.
“Rural thefts and items targeted such as quad bikes remain a key focus for North Yorkshire Police as we work hard to target those responsible and reduce rural crime.”
Three arrests were made last month by officers investigating rural crime in the district.
Two houses were also searched and a vehicle was seized.
