Police have issued an appeal after a green Kawasaki Mule was stolen from Bishopdale last night.

The vehicle was taken from the Thoralby area between 11.30pm on Sunday and 9am today.

Police say there was a sighting of a 4×4 in the area which officers believe was acting suspiciously and may be linked to the theft.

PCSO Sharon Diamond said: “We would like to ask all CCTV and video doorbell owners to check their footage for anything out of the ordinary.”

Call police on 101 quoting reference NYP-11032024-0117 with any information.

  1. The police don’t seem to be getting on top of these thefts of 4×4 vehicles etc from farms in the dales as it seems that there is something going missing from farms on an average of about one each week and almost all of them never seen again.

I do think the police need to step up on modern technology drones and more cameras etc.

Then the police may have a sporting chance of catching some of these thieves.
