Police are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 40s was assaulted in Richmond.
The incident happened at The Batts, Station Road, Richmond, at around 6.40pm on Friday, June 12.
The victim suffered facial injuries after being attacked from behind and was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.
Officers say no suspect has yet been identified and are asking anyone who was in the area near the River Swale at the time, or who may have CCTV, dashcam or mobile phone footage, to come forward to assist enquiries.
