Police release CCTV image after assault at Richmond pub

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to following an assault at a pub in Richmond.

The incident happened at the Wetherspoons pub on Queen’s Road at around midnight on Wednesday, July 23.

North Yorkshire Police said the victim was assaulted and suffered injuries to his head and face.

Officers investigating the incident have now issued an image of a man they believe may have information which could assist their enquiries.

Police said the man spoke with a Liverpudlian accent and is not believed to be local to the Richmond area.

Anyone who recognises the man pictured, or has other information which could help the investigation, is being urged to contact North Yorkshire Police.
