Police have released an image of a vintage chainsaw as they renew an appeal for information following a burglary near Barton.
A number of tools were stolen from a shed at a rural property near the village overnight between Monday, August 24 and Tuesday, August 25.
North Yorkshire Police issued an appeal following the burglary last week and has now released an image of the vintage Stihl chainsaw taken during the break-in.
Officers are asking anyone who witnessed suspicious behaviour or vehicles in the area around the time of the burglary to come forward.
They are also keen to hear from anyone who has been offered any of the stolen equipment or has seen the items advertised for sale during the past week.
The stolen property includes a vintage Stihl chainsaw, a Stihl backpack leaf blower, a Husqvarna 120 chainsaw and a large Stihl chainsaw with an 18-inch bar.
Also taken were a Von Haus extendable hedge trimmer, a grey Switzer compactor plate, a smaller Stihl strimmer and a Dolman brush cutter.
