Police have come to the rescue of a wandering lamb.
The sheep was found by officers on patrol in Swaledale.
They put the lamb in the back of their patrol car before returning it to its mother in a field near Thwaite.
In an Easter message posted on its social media pages, North Yorkshire Police said: “Happy Easter from everyone at North Yorkshire Police ??
“A bit of a different day today for some of us but stay safe and a big thank you to everyone who is staying home.
“This little chap was found wandering by one of our officers last weekend and returned to mum at Thwaite in the Yorkshire Dales.” [kofi]
